Jesper Ny

Making a lasting difference was something that Jesper took to a whole new level.  First he got a donation from the Lions Club charity in Linköping, which allowed us to buy a lot of equipment.  The balls, bibs and cones not only helped our coaching sessions hugely but furthermore, at the end of our time in Kanungu, Jesper gave them to Kazuru School to be used well into the future.

Then he got friends and family in Sweden to donate money to flatten the pothole-laden, lopsided local pitch.  This will make playing football there more fun, not to mention a great deal safer.  Locals were employed by Jesper to do the work, aided by many of the children who will benefit for years to come from the donations of complete strangers thousands of miles away.  On behalf of those children, thank you (‘tack’) to the generous Swedes who donated.  And of course, good work Mr. Ny – inspirational stuff!
