Bwindi’s Got Talent

Bwindi's Got Talent

Saturday night saw the lodge’s very own ‘talent’ show.  Despite being reluctant to take part, unsure as I was as to exactly what talents I possessed, I hastily wrote a sketch set in a Ugandan classroom, something everyone in the audience could empathise with.  Robbie played the part of the volunteer teacher with Rob, Adam, ‘Sergeant’ Mike and myself the pupils.  It seemed to go down well, being voted a creditable runner-up to the girls’ Spice Girls impersonation.

Special mentions must go to Ny Magic featuring Ali Cadabra, Jesper and Ali’s comedy ‘magic’ show, and Will Harte (taking a break from his role as Simon Cowell on the judging panel) performing air guitar with Tom and Laurence.
